Why Winestains?
Winestains is the "handle" that I created when I first signed up for a Gmail address many years ago. My tagline then was that I was proud of the stain that wine had made on my life. It seemed to capture people's imaginations and it was memorable. So I perpetuated the identity when I joined Twitter back in 2009. I love when I meet people now who say,
Oh, so YOU'RE @winestains!"
When the time came to start my own marketing / communications / public relations consultancy, I tried to choose another name, but Winestains proved too hard to get out! Winestains has now come to symbolize the making of an impression - hopefully an indelible impression - but more importantly, as always for me, an impression to be proud of.

Whether it's in the wine world, or in the marketing world, or anywhere else in the real world, what really matters in the end is the quality of your relationships. And making relationships, nurturing relationships, keeping relationships.
I bring this philosophy to my work and to my life. My affinities are with communication, content and customers. My goals are to enlighten, enrich and, as my favourite Starfleet captain likes to say,
